Welcome to Headlands Primary School

On behalf of the children, governors and staff, welcome to our school.  I am extremely proud to be the Head Teacher of Headlands Primary School, leading over 450 amazing children on a creative voyage of discovery as we shape minds and inspire futures.

I took up my post at the school in January 2016 and I have the privilege of working with an incredibly enthusiastic staff, governing body and supportive parents who are all committed to the school vision of pursuing academic, artistic, sporting and pastoral excellence for every child to enable them to shape the world in which they live.  We care about the development of the whole child and our aim is to nurture confident individuals, responsible citizens and successful learners and we painstakingly seek to ensure that all children reach their aspirational potential in all aspects of school life.

We are proud to be part of Northampton Primary Academy Trust (NPAT).  As a Trust we offer our children a wide range of learning opportunities through Sport, The Arts, Drama and Technology to develop creativity, confidence and enjoyment of the learning process.

Naturally, at the heart of all that we do are the children.  It is their school and they are at the centre.  Please enjoy this website and the blogs and see for yourself how we nurture the lifelong love of learning.

LET'S MAKE HEADLANDS A MOBILE FREE ZONE!

At Headlands we promote speaking and listening in our school all of the time and we wish to extend this in all aspects of the school day.  It would therefore be very much appreciated if, when dropping off in the morning and on collection in the afternoon, you avoid using mobile phones on the school premises.  Thank you for your support.
